Basic Insurance is included in the rental cost with no extra charge. With this insurance, the renter’s liability in case of damage is limited to the applicable excess amount.

3. Golden Full Insurance

15€ per day

Golden Full Insurance offers the highest coverage option for renters who want wider protection and a smoother rental experience with no excess and no deposit.

Zero excess

Weather condition damages
Bodywork protection
Glass parts, windscreen, lights and mirrors protection

Damage risk:
The renter’s damage risk is limited to a maximum amount of 100€.

** Important Notes **

Insurance is invalid if the renter is driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other substance, or if the renter is speeding or violating traffic laws.

No insurance covers loss or damage to car keys, vehicle documents, locks, registration plates, or damage caused by the use of wrong fuel.

No insurance covers key loss, off-road driving, clutch damage, damage to the interior of the car, vehicle documents, locks or registration plates.

Reservations:
All reservations are based on a vehicle category and not on a certain car model or color. In case of no availability for a confirmed reservation gandcars reserves the right to offer a vehicle of bigger category to the customer with no extra charge.
Minimum rental charge:
The minimum rental charge is 2 day.

Driver:
Minimum age is 21 years of age for (citycar) category
Minimum age for (hatchback-crossover-suv) categories is 24

Driver’s License:
The Driver is required to have and display a valid Driver’s License issued at least a year ago. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international Driver’s License along with their regular Driver’s License

Traffic Violations-Fines:
Traffic violations and fines are borne by the Renter. You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines or other penalties incurred whilst the Vehicle is on rent to you.

After Hours Deliveries-Collections:
Out of Hours Fee. You will only be charged if you want to book your rental outside the office opening hours.

Additional Driver:
The Additional Driver is 3euros/day

Fuel:
The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when collected. In the case of returning the vehicle with less fuel Gandcars will be charged with the fuel difference

Accident:
In case of an accident the Renter is obliged to inform Gandcars as well as the police to present the Police Accident Report to the station upon return of the vehicle to the station.

Ferrying & Border Restrictions:
Vehicles are not permitted to be taken out of the island of Corfu and the Greek borders.

Road Assistance:
Gandcars are covered with 24/7 Road Assistance. Contact details will be provided to you at the station.

Vehicle Condition:
You must return the vehicle in the same condition as it was in when received it, minus the normal wear and tear.

Vehicle Group/Model:
The make and model of the car displayed are only guaranteed if it is clearly stated so in the offer. Generally, the particular car displayed on the voucher is for reference only and the Gandcars reserve the right to substitute it for an alternative, similar or upgraded car. If the vehicle on your voucher becomes unavailable or an accident, Gandcars will provide you with a similar or upgraded vehicle.

Collection Time:
Your vehicle will only be held available for up to one hours after the agreed collection time, you must contact us if you will arrive after this time.

Number Of Passengers:
All vehicles are insured for the appropriate maximum number of passengers. Please ensure that you choose a vehicle suitable for your number of passengers.

Cancelation policy

In case of cancellation of a reservation, it is necessary to inform the company at least 48 hours before the date and time of delivery you have chosen.
